My shell is in the process of being prepped for paint, so it is now rolled onto its side so I can stone chip the entire under side.

I've done mine right from the join with the cross member and toe board, all the way back to the rear valance. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

The only bits where it is remotely close is where in runs through the subframe. Everywhere else has a good air gap round it, so it should be fine.

If you put rubber bungs in the holes put little bit of silcon in with them keeps em in and water and rust out :) |

Yeah I'm planning on putting them in and then giving a quick squirt over the bottoms with the stonechip again, it blends in easily because of the rough texture!
