My shell is in the process of being prepped for paint, so it is now rolled onto its side so I can stone chip the entire under side.

Just not sure where to stop when working forwards, it is a flip front so no inner wings, should I mask off at the front of the floorpan where it meets the footboard where the rear front subframe mounts are, of should I just go all the way up to the cross member?

It's white, and the mini is being painted white, just not sure how much is too much, or if the heat from the exhaust manifold will be too much close to that thick stone chip stuff...

I've done mine right from the join with the cross member and toe board, all the way back to the rear valance.

I thought that would be neatest- but wasn't sure if the exhaust manifold would melt it or anything?

The only bits where it is remotely close is where in runs through the subframe. Everywhere else has a good air gap round it, so it should be fine.

We ran the upside down skips turbo very close to the body and never had any sign of damage to paint etc

Here's how it came out:

Does anyone know the size of the holes in the floor? I forgot to measure them so I can order a load of rubber grommets...

Yeah I'm planning on putting them in and then giving a quick squirt over the bottoms with the stonechip again, it blends in easily because of the rough texture!

Might silicone them too :)
