Gear sets Med minispares

Anyone using the med gear set? It's 100 quid cheaper than minispares? I. Guess because you don't get 1st and reverse? Is his important if you can find a good used one?

Oh will these fit in any box oe remote, rod? I don't know what makes the Hearst remote or rod specific?

same contents but cheaper, no idea if the med one is stronger but the minispares kit is well proven

cant comment about the rod/remote fitment i have never seen in a remote box

its the reverse gear that makes it specific to rod or remote, the remote one has a narrower groove for the selector, but you can jsut swap the reverse gear, or if the original reverse gear is used it dosent matter.

also the remote one will always be pre A+

early gearsets are slightly longer than late, so needs the casing grinding a little to get the assembled mainshaft in, but it's no big deal,

If running a remote box, but the remote kit from Minispares. Period!

I think you're getting confused between the clubman gearset and the ST set, if you look at the C-STN39 as Brett posted you can see the correct price comparison.
