But please point out anything i would need to add for a 998 turbo :

998 +.020 dished pistons
12g295 slightly ported but may get skimmed
Metro turbo cam
T2 turbo, elbow and acuator
duplex timing gear
Hiff44 carb ( may need to rebuild ? )

Still to get :

Rebore for pistons
Carb manifold
Plenum < why is this need ? To run an intercooler ?)
Build up head
Get head skimmed

Anything you guys can add to the list for me ?

1 question my petrol tank has an intank pump, would i need to get a different one ?

Mpi tank is good for lots of boost, Spi should be on for 12 or so psi.

You need to decide what CR you are aiming for before you will know what dish you'll need in the piston or how much needs skimming off the head.

The plenum is essential unless you want to make things awkward.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

metro turbo cam = shite as its just a 1275 cam.

You want an N/A MG Metro Cam (unless you are building a mild motor)

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

the plenum is there to keep the fuel pressure above the boost pressure so that you don't run out of fuel when you are thrashing about and break your engine.

The metro turbo cam is just a standard 1275 cam. I would go for an MG metro cam instead.

Make sure the hif44 is a turbo carb (they can be converted, but is a bit of a bodge) and what are your exhaust manifold plans?

This is the cam i bought dont really know how to id it

As for manifold looks like its either the mirage or may see the mechanic i use to see if he can build one, hes reasonably priced for other things.
What tank would i have in a my91 Was under the assumption that it was only te mpi tank which was built in but must have my wires crossed.

Going by what wil on here has said the pistons i have ( 20773 ) have a 6cc dish and would give me a CR of 8.5.1 i think it was.

Well, personally I'd rather run a turbo car with a turbo carb, one designed to do exactly the job i'm asking it to do.

I was going to use it tbh mate, but it was one of those "while its in bits I may as well put a new cam in" I went for the kent 266 but from what people have said I would go for the phase2 cam if i take the engine apart again
