thinking about swapping to an rts clutch setup and obviously the flywheel too i've never had this style of flywheel or clutch and looking around the med and minispares sites is confusing me, i want a nice light setup or as light as i can get it who makes the best flywheels? and what parts will i need? as some seem to come with the centre pieces and some dont.

also i have a high torque starter for my pre verto setup can the ring gears be swapped so i can re use this or is this even needed will it work?

thanks lee

also do you need the short clutch arm or can you run the longer arm ?

the med outer is the lighter of the two, there are ligher ally ones out there form the likes of jonspeed, but i'd go for the more substansial steel med one,

ring gears is a bit of a sticky one, MED fitted the preverto one for me when I got mine, bit it seems they are increasingly reluctant to do this, they can be swapped though, its a bit of a pain to get them off though so I'd see if you can get the verto with no ring gear and fit it yourself (stick it on the oven and drop it on, then drill/ tap retaining bolts)

you will need the short arm as the long one wont move the clutch far enough to operate.

Med said they would sell me the ring gear I need, for me to fit so that's about the best option I have will try and order the bits in the coming weeks
