has anyone got a working auto box for a 1275 engine?

You'll be lucky to fit a working auto box 99% of the time if they have been sat or not had oil changes in ages the clutch plates with in the gear box brake down and don't work and expensive repair to have done. cheaper to convert to manual :)

no i want to keep it a auto but i have a box that needs rebuilding, but was wondering if anyone had a working one i could just put straight on

I thing Guessworks provides an auto service now.

Yeah I think he dose

But if Martin at MRA is still about then he dose em but not cheap. also you'd be waiting ages...

My mate has a complete 998 auto engine with 50k on if your interested. could just rob the box off it and swop it over.

Let me know as the engine is in Guernsey so will have to find out when it could be brought over. We are rebuilding the car and are fitting 1275 manual engine
