got my superchager on my standard turbo lump, now its doing this thing,butit only does it in the evenings which is strange,basicly when pulling away it judders and hesitates,as soon as you get the revs up it goes ok,it does it in every gear at low revs,next day its fine,until the evning where it does it again...

it has an exhaust leak where the link pipe joins the manifold and the y piece aswell no doubt,not too sure if its that and air temperature at night??

it also cuts out or revs go real low when coming to a halt,if you pull the choke out,the revs wonder and go up and down up and down etc

any ideas??? i had it rolling roaded and it made 90bhp at 5k revs,95 ftlbs torque.then started pinking,they suggested cr is too high as its running 10psi,so have sent my stage 4 head to vmax to be sorted.

hi dan first job would be to sort the exaust as you motor has to be right dont it i am not saying this is it but if you like you motor to be right sort the problem

anyway i would go for the ignition module and the coil firstley

to eliminate these, usually the problems you describe are found on these two items

then take it from there dan
seems strange only happens a night !

keep out of dark side! "pinking" as this can SOON wreck your engine in seconds

if you hear thi pinking back off with the right foot ! straight away

not to do with having lights on at night
