Awright guys? The guy that built my clubby-and me for not noticing, ive got holes in the top of my door where the mirror base sits. There's too many etc. Spoke to the guy from minidoor company and he recommended a re-skin.

How tidy do you want it too look? If your not bothered whack a couple or rubber grommet/bung things in there, cheap and easy. Edited by minimole23 on 14th Oct, 2012. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

If the doors are in good nick can you not just pull the paint back, weld the holes/provide your own holes as needed then fill/paint over them. I used rivnuts to give a threaded point to fix to when I put mine together. On 18th Oct, 2013 apbellamy said:

If we are just talking about the two holes for the Mirrors, I'd do as Oli suggests and weld them up. That is if there is nothing wrong with the rest of the doors

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

weld them up thats a nice easy job just dont plug in one big go as the heat will warp the skin, reskin is way over the top for that Edited by wolfie on 14th Oct, 2012. Crystal Sound Audio said:

I'd weld them up if the rest of the skin is good. Place a strip of brass behind the hole before welding and will give a nice smooth finish behind and help keep distortion to a minimum. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
