Hi just wondered what calipers you perfer to use

I have been looking at the minisport and minispares calipers but they dont look quite as good as Kad,

I would appreciate your advise, is it worth the extra cash and going KAD

Cheers

Yes, do it buy the Kad ones, mind you your cars that light it won't take much to stop it Jase.

i've got minispares ones on mine (old black ones not the new fancy ones) and they seemed to work a treat, although a couple of people seemed to have had trouble with 'em

Watch out if you opt for 2nd hand KAD ones - early versions didn't have dust seals, so not really suitable for road use.

y i read that somewhere too, they guy was in Oz or NZ or something like that, also stones kept getting between the rim and caliper and gouging (spelling?) chunks out of either.

Can you run these without vented discs or is it not worth it and best having both vented discs and 4 pot?

zeemax,

mine where originally 's' discs & 's' drive flanges with the minispares calipers, but switched to m/c down metro vented discs & metro drive flanges, and got the spacer kit for the minispares calipers

there was a noticeable improvement, although the car had been stood for some time when i tried the solid disc set-up

i have the minispares black ones too and have not had a drama at all they stop great over my old "S" setup.
i have retained the "S" swivel hub and then fitted turned down 8.4 vented discs and added the spacers inthe caliper to suit.
