No, the 44 will have a bigger hole. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

What does the spacer actually do? im kinda thinking maybe a few things.... - limit heat transfer as its plastic (from manifold) - longer runner length for air/fuel to mix - excess of plastic lying about in those days |

any excess 38 ones I am interested in... Katie my daughter does ministox which is standard heads and manifolds etc, so a standard nylon one is better than a standard alloy one, only fractions but in ministox fractions count... |

That's one from whatever the economical Metro was called, HLE? It had the part throttle lean-off which worked by applying manifold vacuum to the float chamber, I can't remember the details or the science of it. Anyway, that is why there are so many pipes. Perhaps you can find other uses for some of them, but you'll probably end up blanking them off. |

away from the manifold so the float chamber on the HIF or Jet on a HS is not right up against the manifold and it suffer from fuel vaporisation due to heat, also for that reason you need to make sure you use an abutment plate It think its called on a which has your locator for accelerator cable on, and also again acts as a heat shield. Spacers help also with heat soak from the manifold into the carb, and for that reason if you can find one of the rarer plastic spacers they are better.
