K1100 head update with pics

Evening all

To make way for other things the k1100 head is going.

Comes with rocker cover, cams, throttle bodies and the head itself has all valves in etc.

Pics will be comming shortly for those intersted.

Its not one of the mint'est gents, its been stood a while so has slight surface rust on and id think the throttle bodies may not re build but the rest should once stripped and cleaned.

Looking for my money back @ £200

I think there ok just mucky, il check though.

Im not doing myself any favours to be honest, a good clean would make it look miles nicer. lol

those two valves look trashed. Can you confirm please if the seats are ok it just a couple of valves and setting up. Thanks james

That's carbon build up that

So, good news and bad.

Good , all it is as sprock says is carbon build up, ive cleaned one up and it all fine.

Bad news, 3 of the valves are broken so will need new. Bummer

So, if anyone wants to make me a bid il listen to sensible ones, if not il put it back in the corner at work to strip and clean properly when time permits.

A few more pics, Ive literely spent two mins cleaning one of the chamber and valves, idealy it wants stripping (you would anyway to convert for the mini) and sitting in a cleanin bath.




And the offending broken valves

Something not right there. Both valves look identical in shape and symetrical. Also, its usually the exhaust valves that melt not the inlets.

yeah thats what i could see in your first pics. do you have all the cam caps for this head too?
