...how many jobs have peoples got left to do?

me well i better get of me arse n get a move on.
jobs left=
take engine out of scuddy mini, replace diff, oil seals and clutch and fit to less scuddy mini. run fuel lines, and other asciotiated jobs with a turbo conversion, fit at least one seat and harness, modifify wirining harness to suit my needs, rebuild and refit hubs brakes etc, fit carbon dash, oh and fit towbar to tow van so ive not got much left to do lol

so hows every1 else doing?

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

all i need is the money to put mine back together. as soon as i get a new job i can get all the bearings/shells/gaskets/clutch plate/oil pump and have it working again in a weekend easily.

arse, just realised my MOT's run out aswell. looks like i'll be doing ball joints aswell now then.

should be at retro cars but wont be racing, that way it'll definately make it to avon park where i will be having a go :)

I need to sort electrics out, make catch tank, anti roll bar, suspension setup, fit arches, bleed brakes, MOT, and Rolling road.

Waiting for my engine at the mo.. Should be getting it this weekend. Once again I've missed avon park with a car, how annoying!! Unless i buy something to play in!

Get it running, RR and persuade my girlfriend to come and keep me company.

all i need is TAX, empty out all the junk and spend some time setting up the ecu
so should be there providing i dont blow it up before hand!

im all excited all ready!

ps i won class D today! but that was in karting, and class D was the losers class, i had 2 4ths and a 3rd (out of 4 cars), but a 1st in the final!!

build the engine
fit it to the gearbox
put it all in the car
wire, pipe and plumb it
fit the exhaust
fit an intercooler
get panels for it
get it all painted
get and fit trim and a dash
get it MOT'd
run it in
get it rolling roaded

It might be there one day! I'm going this year anyway though!

Fit new clutch.
New intercooler.
Fit mapped ignition system.
RR road.
Wash and polish.

Yep easy!

Every year i leave it all to the last minute.

One year i only built the engine the night before and ran it in by running it on the trailer @ 4000rpm on the way to Avon.

I'll be there!

I spent two days flat out on the mini on the weekend, with a lot of help from endaf.

Jobs done.
Endaf made a really neat catch tank, with two compartments, one for oil and one for water, this all neatly in the inner wing. After we ran the breather pipes from the tranfer housing to the rocker cover, and then from the rocker cover to the catch tank. These pipes then all got in the way of the intercooler pipes, so these had to be re made, (nothings simple) also the fuel pressure regulator was in the way of the pipe going through the inner wing (whats left of it) and to the catch tank. so I moved the fuel pressure reg, and made new fuel pipes, plain black rubber once, no more bling braided ones this time.
I also managed to mount the passanger seat, but this meant moving the battery, so I had to fold up and fabricate an ally mount for this. Mounted eyelets for harness. I also made a new handbrake cable from some threaded bar. I have had problems with two much breaking on the rear of my car ever since I fitted the kad rear disk brakes, so I have now fitted another adjustable brake bias valve, so now I have two, but now I am happy with the rear braking. I starrted to blead the brakes, there now better but still need more bleading.
Endaf started the rear antiroll bar, this is running through the boot, this took bloody ages an is still not finsihed. trying to get this square in the boot took ages, ally bushed had to be turned up to mount the bearing on so it turned freely. The rear tracking was also done while working at the back.

A new gearstick and gearknob was made, and looks great. I'll try to get some pics up soon.
