hi

what are peoples thoughts on these?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kinugawa-Adjusta...=item19d0b3317e

would it make it easier to get high boost levels using these with a bleed valve, as i've read people struggle using bleed valves and restrictors to achieve high boost.

thanks
josh

my personal preference is to have the actuator set to a basic road boost level ( mine is 15psi) then a bleed valve/ controller to up it to a higher boost
i can go from 15 to 28psi on the bleed valve
it mainly depends on your opinion, dont forget you cant go lower than the actuator base pressure but you can easily up it with a bleed valve

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Out of interest, what is the standard gt17 actuator opening pressure?

This is how mine is setup with a lot of help from Andy, Brett, Robert at Avon / MITP and it worked well on the road and track, I had the Actuator on around 10psi then on bleed it was 18psi.

But make sure you can not get to that Bleed valve when you are driving *happy*

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Standard gt17 actuators are good for 25psi

I had a restrictor in mine and at 16 ish psi I didont get and spike in the boost

13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat!

mine held around 5psi at the manifold with about 3mm pre load
http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=463477

the gt20 actuator is 15-18 depending on preload and is the same size/shape but the arm is an inch shorter
