just seen my mates fresh imported evo 9...very impressed with it...abit more subtle than the previous ones but nice little touches around the car.

my mate is testing some new brakes as his is believed to be first in country and topgear is asking for a lend of it for a go around the track. its pushing 400bhp maybe more as an evo company is already making a bigger turbo and fuel management package etc.....for it.

bit expensive at 30k standard like......

Your mates EVO9 is not the first one in the country. I work for Colt who are the importers for Mitsubishi in the U.K. and I must have fitted the alarms and smart nav. to atleast 50 of the bloody things since early April!!

sorry then must be only import by private person or something but it seems much sort after as hes got letters from loads of companys wanting to test stuff on it and a letter from top gear asking if they can lend it.

just telling wot told and seen...lovely mate and it has a nice plate: EVO4EVA

got pics on phone but non on a digi cam as aint got one.

I quite fancy a Evo 9 .... my Evo 4 is getting a little tired now , but still goes like poo of a shovel !!

Also the £30k + price tag is about £29500 out of my price range !

lol...he went to japland and got it before they take off stuff and put them on extras lists for uk ones....its nice but a bit subtle compared to the evo6 front end etc...
