Hello guys

So got the car back together and working, now when I rev to about 2k it leans right out and then if you pull the choke out and it gets past this bit fine and its fine after that.

I have fully rebuilt the carb but I did have this issue before I bought and installed a full rebuild kit

Pleassseee give me some ideas of where to look guys *smiley*

Cheers

Craig

Damper oil in the carb? If so, what have you got in? Something a little thicker may help.

I agree with AP. I'd try heavier oil firstly.

Would 10/40 mineral oil be okay?

Got it running better, my dad played around with some of the screws on the carb its driveable now and can run it in then get it down to slark again for final tuning.

Oil burning is alot better since changing the oil return however it might be a case of turbo oil seals being buggered as I know the turbo was sat for about 2 year before I used it
