Hi all

Ages ago, when I was building a turbo Mini, I did some reaserch and decided on buying a high pressure fuel pump from a different make of car (can't remember what car!).

I have today tried to fit it and just wanted to check whether I have done something really stupid or something safe. I have cut the old wires and crimped the new connection on. Is this safe:

Thanks

Speed doesn't kill, suddenly becoming stationary, now that's what'll get ya!

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

I would have put some shrink wrap on it as you have petrol in contact with the elastictrickery.

I would of soldered the wires together then heat shrink it as andy suggested

Hypothetically speaking, where would you stick your nozzle?

As long as the crimp is sound, it is fine.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
