Gents,

I bought a used Kent 266 cam for my turbo engine. I have cleaned and inspected it to do d it's got an offset key in it, I think it has 4 degrees stamped on it.

Is there any advantages from keeping this installed or shall I put a standard one in??

Cheers

David

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Fit it to your engine and measure the timing. If it's correct for what you want, keep it. If not, change it for one that gives you the correct timing.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

The 266 camshaft is timed in at 106 so in
short! !!!! with my experience just install it with that offset key and your away, with a set of New followers, I have tried different. Timing figures but its a pig to drive, not a nice feel to the engine, 106 degrees. Is cock on.

The valve clearances. For that camshaft are all 0.016" if its for Turbo application make the exhaust. Clearences 0.018"
