whats the best make to buy ? put 2 on the sons now and getting a bit fed up with cheap tack shit in plain white boxes .
i am going to order some from a bearing supplier

wolves

front both sides . torqued to 210nm with a washer then with the taper washer .
hub is mint and no driveshaft stub shaft wear .
tracking was set both times on 4 wheel system
yes he is running 13 x 7 wheels but 3 months is just shit
cant read the writing on the old ones which makes me think they shit quality

Not that expensive if you have to replace the cheaper ones twice.

Just majke sure that you check for even the slightest bit of play in the bearings when fully done up. If there is the slightest play, it won't matter what bearings you fit, they won't last long.

Good god, just totaled up a new set of timkin front and rear wheel bearings and genuine ball joints and its come to £200 quid. Bloody minis!

Glad I bought those new old stock bearings and ball joints at MITP 2010. I could rebuild the front hubs twice for less than £40 all with Gauranteed genuine parts *wink*

It pays to look through the shite at the auto jumble, to find the gold. Previously bought a 4 bolt main cap for a fiver lol

timkin bearings are around £11 each (£22per hub) but im trying to get a deal on 12 bearings from bsl so with seals should be about 26 per hub . if anyone interested in some bearings let me know. they can get the seals also but i need a part number

As long as they are the real deal I'm in, but considering the quantities minispares are buying them in at I would question how they are so cheap.
