Hi all,

I have a 1330 NA engine at the moment, and would love to turbo this.

I just managed to buy a turbo head, which the spec is:

Chambers enlarged to just over 24cc
8 new double valve springs
Fitted new bronze guides to the exhaust valves
Fitted new stem seals on the inlets
Re-cut the exhaust seats
All 8 valves have been lapped in

Now my question is would this drop my compression ratio down enough to run a turbo, with my NA pistons?

Even if it will be very low PSI, I will be happy with that.

All help is really appreciated.

Thanks

Bobby

Not enough info.

What's the dish in your pistons? What pistons are they?

In the 13's at last!.. Just

The dish on the piston is +60, not sure what pistons they are, as I bought the engine complete as a 1330cc

Hi all, I did not manage to find any numbers on the pistons unfortunately.

I already have the head I bought of t@z on the forum(cheers again t@z)

Also just bought a plenum with a dump valve built in. and am looking to buy a turbo tomorrow.

Now my question is this turbo suitable?
The spec is:
Hybrid T2/gt15 Turbo
This is what the guy has qouted:
hybrid of two turbos a t2 hot side renault5, bespoke core with big pad 360 degree thrust bearing and a gt15 cold side with an espace compressor housing so you dont need so much pipework will take 18-20 psi and make very good power

Is this any good or should I not bother.

Also just to let you know I do not have a manifold yet, so will need to purchase one as well.

Please give me some advise.

Cheers

Bobby
