Do you think I can put one of the 45 or 90 degree drift handbrakes in the mini. All I can find are hydraulic ones, can i convert it to use the cable? Reason I am asking is my handbrake is really close to the passing seat and is hard to get to. 1991 mini cooper

Just cut the bracket off and relocate it. I have seen hydro hand brakes installed alongside the original ones but I imagine it will depend on what seats you have |

What is a Fly off hand brake? Never heard of it. My seats are recaro bucket seats. I also have a full roll cage in the car with the back seat and back pockets cut out. So the passager seat can not move all the way back.

Yeah I would also like the mechanism to work also. I could remove the passenger seat since I am not using it right now. 1991 mini cooper

I had the same seats in my clubman, and had much larger gap between them than that :s On 15th Jul, 2009 fastcarl said:

There are some drift handbrakes that have a lock. Is there a way to mod the stock one at a 45 degree? 1991 mini cooper

I made new brackets for mine to tilt it vertically. It worked fine but it was a little awkward to use towards the top of its pull. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
