fitting curley arches

I am hoping to fit the wide curley miglia arches to my mini but was wondering does the shell have to be deseamed and debumpered to fit at the back because they seem to wrap around the back end.
Has anyone fitted these to their car and are they relatively easy to fit?

Curley arches are made for Miglia racers, which have to have their seams intact. So probably yhou would have to use a cutter to do the necessary grooves
