Not heard of floflex. Where did they come from?

Never had any trouble with MOT on mine but used yellow superflex.

Did he bitch about them in general or a specific place?

For them to be too flexible they must be awfully soft- can't see how any poly type bushes are more soft than rubber?

I thought bushes would only fail an MOT if they had play in them.

When the car gets jacked up the floor mounts on the front subby do flex and you can get your finger in between them and the floor pan.

I got them off ebay was like £50 for the full set of bushes and tbh the floor ones never fit properly in the first place took hours getting them to fit right.

Just bought a full set of solid mounts off of minispares to replace them all :)

Andy bought a set aswell.

yours might not be as bad as mine, but I wasnt too impressed with mine as I needed new longer bolts for the pear drop mounts and they weren't supplied in the kit, same with the subframe to floor mounts

IMO solid subby mounts are the only way forward.

The rubber bushes I put on my rear frame lasted 1 year parked up plus 20 miles towed on an a frame before they perished and split. Total waste of time unless they are made with the correct rubber in the first place.
