Worth around 15 to 20k IMO, anyone else's thoughts. ?

The market seems to be crazy at the moment; aparently a great number of speculators playing with the classic car market as money is going no where in stocks and shares or property

as for value, I'd agree someone wiill pay high teens but if it could be proved that the van is the first registerd then certainly it would have some additional novelty value.

Having now said all that, I've got a very early estate sitting to be restored - the register only knows of 2 older ones at the moment; now a screen price of £35k restored would be nice!

Its genuine guys was ion mark one forum it came from a collector in Northen Ireland and now lives in wellingborough but its still mega bucks for what it is id pay £12k max

As with all things it is worth what someone is willing to pay to own it. Their reasoning can be anything they dream up. You can't add up restoration costs or material value to work it out once it becomes "classic". An Andy Warhol painting has a material cost of a few £ but people pay millions.

In this case the value is around complete originality, some place a high value on that. I don't.. I'd turbo the fucker.

Does the black splodges of paint around the rubber bungs in the floor look original? I'm wondering if all "real" concours resto's should have this extra paint daubed over the holes.
