Not Mini related but anyone used them for concert/gig/show tickets ???

"Legalised" ticket touting I guess would be my "best" description of Viagogo, and I know they have a bad press from lots of people, but I had to use them as the real tickets were sold out before I even realised they were on sale......

First time with any unusuall company is allways the worst....

Bought the tickets nearly two months ago (credit card debited immediately) and have just got an email, only 8 days away from the booking, saying the tickets I bought aren't available but offering me another seating location (far worse and currently cheaper than I paid even on their own website) and if I don't respond by tommorow I'll get given the worse tickets anyway....

I have responded (go screw yourselves if you don't give me what I paid for) but is this normal for Viagogo ???

The trouble is I really want to go - it's on my list of things to do before I die.....

(and wifey has booked the day off work and actually agreed to be there with me...)

Well after many days of argueing by internet, and occassionaly by phone, I finally got my money back..

I (hopefully) have two new tickets - from eBay of all people - for better seats at a better price.

Won't know for sure until Wednesday when the tickets should arrive but I never have rated eBay above other online sellers until experienceing Viagogo........

Viagogo are crap - I spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone to them Saturday night with the poor girl telling me she couldn't tell me her surname and there were no supervisors in the office (on a Saturday night....) and she couldn't give me a genuine email address for them.

Rant over.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Should be good. Not so impressed with their last album, but the older stuff doesn't seem to get old.

I actually think Battle Born is way better than Day and Age.

But, yes, Hot Fuss and Sam's Town are probably the best.

Hopefully I will see it all live later this week - no thanks to ViaGoGo - and can report back later if I ever get there.. :)
