I am not sure that the cutting the arches is necessary for speed humps but mine grounds the sump and the exhaust over the smallest bump. Have started doing the rear arches on 1 shell and its quite straight forward.

not sure if i wrote that right but i didnt mean if i cut them will they hit the floor i meant is it worth it as in i can probably get it low enough without chopping bits for the road if that makes sense

No not worth the effort for 10" wheels and road use. You will get it low enough to run into other problems (e.g. sump, exhaust) before you hit the rear arches.

I've tubbed my arches, I only use 10" wheels, although I do plan to use mine on the track and the road. but in order to get the car low enough, I have also had to move the gearchange to inside the car, and makr the exhaust really tight to the body

When tubing rear arches do you bend a new lip from the rear quarter or just extend the rear arch out and seam weld it?

if you've got the cash KAD do a kit for an internal linkage.....otherwise its a coule of UJ's and some cutting and welding :)....and solid mounting the engine i think

re tubbing, you bend the rear qaurter to make the lip, and the metal that you add under the arch you bring out to the edge of the lip. There are some pics on my website, bascily bud has it, but you do need to solid mount the engine and subframe.

Near Lincoln

its because normally the gear selector is on rubber mounts so can move a little when the engine moves stopping it popping out of gear, hence when you solid mount the gear selector you've got to do the engine

hope that makes sense??

You don't use the bottom stabiliser bar on the linkage,If it's not solid mounted jumps out of gear with engine rock

ujs out you socket set !!!
