turbo gauge is bouncing

im new to turbo minis ,.but i cant get the engine to run under load when the boost pressure goes +0.2 .the car starts to hesitate.ive checked the fuel pressure ,ignition timing is spot on ..can anyone help

Could be a number of things.

Fuel mixture, - check colour of plugs, dash pot oil etc

Ignition module, leads, coil faulty

Is the fuel pressure rising with boost? Any black smoke out of the exhaust after hesitation?

can you confirm what he fuel pressure should be ? ,
Dash pot oil is new,ignition module brand new Original lucas for metro turbo
All plugs are a good colour ,Not running lean
New leads.
getting no smoke ,
,just feels like its asking for more fuel. ,Ive turned the mixture screw about one full turn to richen ,but not much improvement ..

Any ideas ?

It should be 3.5psi then stay 3.5psi above boost pressure.

Also check that the inlet pipe to the turbo isn't crushing up.
