yet another project has to go,
i just dont have anytime at the moment to do anything these days, bit annoying really but thats life i guess,

the engine is a lancia (fiat) twin cam 8v from a monte carlo VX(supercharged)
so its a variant of the delta turbo engine, hence where the exhaust manifold come from,
it is running on R1 carbs on a custom inlet and plenum chamber,cambelt has been changed so has the cam seals , oil and filter last week too,
i had hoped to get megajolt on this sooner rather than later but just havent got around to doing that ,
engine runs fine, starts first time every time, although a choke cable could do with being fitted,
only running 9 psi at the moment but thats more than enough to get the wheels spinning!! the compression is 7:5.1 so the plan was to run alot more,
the turbo is a GT28 from a GTR was destined for the pickup...
goes into gear nicely although the selctor could do with being shortend a few inches to bring it back a tad,
fueling is bang on at the current boost AEM gauge says so!


the shell is solid , but just a little but scabby in places, nothing serious atall,
if i had time i would do the bits that need doing over a week, then paint it but i just cant right now,
currently no tax or mot,its on a Q plate,and registered as 2000cc too,
lots of paper work and receipts to go with it,

could do with the interior sorting,but thats personal preference i suppose, everything works
could do with a couple of gaiters
overall its a fun quick mini but it just needs a little bit of love.
im after £2800 ono

James? not sure on power id guess at aout 150-180 doesnt take much to break traction....

I would do you a straight swop with my engineless car, but its probably not another project that you are looking for, unless anyone else want to offer me £2650 for my car as is, basically the same as the for sale thread but missing the aem, dashboard and megajolt system????:(

lol cheers rubicon. its a well known car from the past in the romford area i believe. Its a unique car quite a head turner with all the hard work done. I was hoping to see it go down the strip and see what the changes had done but as rubicon sais too many projects and never enough time. Shame but there is always another project that needs finishing (get the pickup done!)
