I bought these hubs with a full set of 8.5" disk brakes about 5 years ago.
Have not really looked at them since.

So today was cleaning them up a bit and noticed the hubs look weird. Well one does.

Anyone know why the one on the left doesn't have the same profile as the other "normal" one.
I am guessing they worked ok since the came off a working car.

You may need to modify the one on the right to fit some 7.5" S disc's as the shoulder hits the inside of the disc bell.

The one on the left is an original S hub - the tapered nose on it definitely fits inside 7½" discs, whereas the stepped version usually fits.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

So basically they should work fine.
I am using 8.5in brakes.

Just wanted to make sure they didn't both have to match or anything.

Thanks heaps
