The prv on my mate engine is stuck in and we need a way of getting it out as its passing.

We know its this as he knocked it in and his o.p came up.

So far weve tried to run it without the spring to fire it out and the same but with some freeze spray to try and loosen it.

Any ideas?

Do it very slowly and stop very regularly to hoover it out and clean your tap.

I made a tool for this...

It works by compressing the black rubber bit at the end, once inside the pressure relief plunger.

It's made of stuff I had lying around, hence is pretty bodged. The brass bit and two large nuts just serve as a sleeve which the threaded bolt runs through but doesn't touch.

Worked a treat for me. I can shove it in the post if you can wait a couple if days?

Bit of rubber pipe will do the job.

Got to love a homemade tool.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

use a raw bolt what opens up cheap and well effective!

dont forget to clean up the valve for scoring etc....... so its slides in there nicley
