'94 Mini Sprite 1275 & Turbo bits

Hi All,

I have had a bit of a change of heart and have decided to sell up my project. I will no longer have the time to complete the project in my foreseeable future. Therefore Im selling everything in the hope that someone here will take it on and complete the dream.

The car is a 1994 mini sprite 1275 carb model. 40k miles and about 10months tax and about 8 months mot.

Currently its running and on the road in its NA setup with:
- Hif38 carb + K&N cone Filter
- 1.5 High Lift Rockers
- Maniflow manifold & RC40 full system (single rear box 2.75" ID i think)
- 123 distributor

I had it setup on the rolling road about 6 months ago. it makes 55bph at the wheels and about the same in torque.

I collected the following parts with the intention of turbo charging this winter:
- gt1752 turbo from saab 93
- metro turbo inlet manifold
- metro turbo carb
- fuel pressure regulator
- mirage exhaust manifold (there is no downpipe and the elbow is for a t2 so will need to source/build an elbow and downpipe)
- metro turbo Plenum
- dump valve (brought from ebay, unsure of condition/suitability)
- escort/fiesta rs turbo intercooler
- AEM Wideband kit (includes everything you need)

My intentions were to rebuild the engine with omega 10cc pistions and a few other bits geabox wise and run 10-12psi of boost. I hadnt got these parts yet though so you would need them.


The car itself is in fair condition. Naturally being a mini there are bits of rust. At some point theres been some shoddy paining just above the rear valance/below rear light and also on drivers side just in front of rear arch (cant think what the panels called.

I do have some replacement panels that will be sold with the car. I bought them with the intention of fixing these rust areas when the engine was being rebuilt. There is also an A panel included which could do with replacing.

recently a van reversed into the car and pushed the headlight into the wing and also dented the bonnet. Its not overly bad but will need repairing and/or replacing panels etc.

If some interest is shown i will put some clear pictures up showing all areas of rust etc.

If you read this far you can probably guess I want to sell everything as a whole. Im not looking to split stuff up and would like to see the lot go to someone on here who wishes to take this forward.

I paid £3500 for the car alone about 18months ago and have put a lot of money into bits and upgrades.

In light of the recent damage to the headlight/wing and just for the fact I want to sell it all asap I am willing to take £3000 for the lot.

Again if you consider splitting, i'd be interested in the turbo carb, inlet manifold and plenum

I figured I'd get a lot of interest in the turbo bits lol. If I manage to sell the car as advertised elsewhere then the turbo bits will be up for grabs on here. if not i may decide to pack the mini and bits up in my garage and come back to it in a year or so.

What are you after for the complete car minus turbo stuff?
