Maths would suggest a 25% chance of pure coincidence, so it's not exactly ruled out.. |

Megajolt needs a resistor plug. and 8's are way too cold. 6's should be fine and 7's if you really really want to, but 8's are just a bit too much.

Slark told me to get it run in and take it back to get it setup properly More relevant info here what value is lean out off scale? This could be a rich missfire. Below 10 to 9 afr could likely see rich missfire. All that extra fuel is maybe what is shorting the plugs. I'm surprised at Slark suggesting you run in an engine that is so far from ideal settings. often, you'll never get to the dyno, and even when you do, the engine is fucked with either detonation or bore wash On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

what gaps are you running on the plugs? Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

We had similar problems early on with the tt. It was all sorted when the fueling was sorted. Going too rich can kill plugs, no matter who makes them. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

There very black and nothings visually wring with them, not at home so will get a pic tomorrow morn If they are very black, then there is absolutely something visually wrong....they're very black ! And as others have said, you are risking causing lots of damaged to your engine by running very rich. You should never be running richer than 10.0:1, even more so when your gauge doesnt read there. For all you know it could be 6:1, 7:1 etc But even richer than 10:1 can and will cause bore and piston/ring problems. And if it's damaging plugs, it could be even richer than that. Plugs do not like being soaked in fuel. Something is very badly wrong. 9.85 @ 145mph

Even 12/13 during normal off boost driving is quite rich. You should be looking to see high 13's at least for normal driving.
