Hi all,

I have had a search on the forum, but found no joy of how to adjust my filter king fuel reg.

I bought a filter king fuel reg and have installed it in my car, I have not got a gauge fitted to this though.

I bought this new and like a muppet I am I managed to throw away the instruction.

My question is when I take off the domed nut to adjust the pressure, which way decreases and which way increases the fuel?

As I am totally baffled on this.

Please help

Thanks

Just take it off, you don't need it for your setup.

You'll need a fuel pressure gauge to adjust anyway, then you'll find out which way to turn....

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

i run my 1380 on a mechanical pump. the fuel pressure is never high enough to be regulated. best just having a filter with no regulator.

Clockwise usually increases, anti decreases. But that is just a guess.

Given it is not a flow/return type setup, adjust it so it offers the most flow.

ie screw one way and if flow start to fall off, screw it completely the other way.
