I've been enquiring about getting some Ti bits cut and want to see what you guys would pay to see if I could recoup my money.

All I've come up with so far is a pair of top arm pin retaining plates and an alternator tensioner bracket.

These will be cut from 3mm thk Grade 2 Titanium. I'd also be interested in how many people would actually be interested in buying any as greater volume mean lower price.

Thanks
King

This weight saving business can become quite addictive! Simon (Madmk1) has shown with his thread that every little helps. I'm only looking to get a small batch done and some people in here may want to benefit from it.

Ti is to expensive just to save a few grams imo the weight saving needs to be more to justify the material price

Lol
What i ment is why those tiny pieces, carls parts are mostly good weight savings, i just dont see why you would go to the time and expense of tensioner bracket or top pin retaining plate

Maybe the way I've worded the first post is a little ambiguous. I've said "all I've come up with" but what I actually mean is, all that I have come up with that is of any use to you guys is those parts. I'm doing an engine conversion so the other bits that I have come up with won't be of any use to you guys. Obviously, these little pieces won't save you a great deal but, some members on here have shown that small weight loss in a lot of parts can soon accumulate to quite a lot. If you consider the weight saving of these parts as a percentage of their original counterparts then the price could be justifiable. Plus, everybody loves exotic materials! Hell, one or two members on here thrive off it!
