just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the help and advise after nearly two years of building my turbo clubman now runs. just got the finishing touches to do then its mot time. once again thanks everyone for all the help along the way:) Edited by wng691s clubby on 7th Dec, 2012. Done now needs redoing lol |

how do you post videos? i was very surprised that at the first turn of the key it started. i alaso killed the battery because i forgot to plug the alternator in lol, its killing me waiting for it to charge up Edited by wng691s clubby on 4th Dec, 2012. Done now needs redoing lol |

I can't hear the knocking on the video? Can hear the rockers though. Dizzy drive still in there and running on jolt? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

nope dizzy drives out its only every now and then. it also refuses to start after its been started. i checked the plugs and they were soaked left a puddle when i put them on top of my tool box. went to check fuel pressure and found i had bought the wrong gauge in bar not psi oops. just to make sure im not being a numpty to increase fuel pressure you screw the threads in and out to lower it? what sort or reading should i be looking for on the AFR gauge on tickover. Done now needs redoing lol |

mine used to make that noise i can hear it in your vid, after months of head scratching Tom noticed that the exhaust valves on 1&4 ( or more like the top hats) were scuffing the rocker mine is an mg rocker like yours too
