I currently have a good ap rally friction plate but its only 181mm and I noticed you can get 190mm clutche plates? Which one is best? Can you get a high performance 190mm friction plate? If so where from?

the AP one is fine, but Minispares now sell a fixed center 190mm plate that should be up to the job On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

I use the 190mm ap rally plate, cheaper than the 180mm one, and seems fine. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

I'm using the 190mm from Minispares. It's not slipped yet at 200 bananas.

I'd try the grey diaphragm on the flywheel you have first and make sure its set so the spring is flat. a 130hp NA A Series engine is going to be a high rpm engine and the RTS clutch is a bit on the heavy side. That said, there is no reason you could not use such a heavy flywheel on a high reving engine as it would have other benefits on a standing start launch for example.
