Help required swopping 2 cars over

Hi all, basically I have agreed with Rubicon to swop my engineless car for his RWD lancia mini, both of which are currently for sale, the problem is I have neither the means nor the time to be able to get my car from York to his place on the far side of the M25 and get his car back to me, the cheapest quote I have had so far is £300 all in with some shady character, the next up from that was £400. I have PM ed Rubicon to ask what his thoughts are on the price/what he would be willing to contribute. That aside im fine with the £300 but would rather give it to someone I trust- Just wondering if anyone was willing to do the job/sat bored wanted some beer money ect ect

You not got a towbar on the van? Trailer hire might not be too bad

I have tow car, but absolutely no time. If my a frame is an option (and you are happy it's legal), you can use that for the cost of some entertaining mspaint based art.

cant you just join the aa and then green flag. push one into the nearest car park and say your stranded. give them rubicons address as yours and get recovered. then, do the same at the other end back to yours! bish bash bosh, job done for about 80 quid.

that will teach the fuckers to hassle you on the way around shopping centres!

Anyhow thanks for all the help guys. The problem is not the towing part, its the Im working 7 days a week right up to (the c word) and I just dont have the time and If im honest I cant be arsed with the journey-so was just looking to pay someone to do it for me.

Anyhow I now have 2 reasonable quotes with people who do this sort of thing for a living so for now I think I am sorted, I will update soon!
