Anybody had any experience with these pistons from Minispeed. I'm after some +20 15cc's for my new cylinder head upgrade.

Personally I'd rather have 18cc forged omega's. Sure you could lose 2cc from somewhere if required.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

18cc Omegas are still on the cards, just exporing other options. I know & trust Omegas. Just 15cc would be ideal. Im not willing to skim the head. Looking for 9-1Cr, 18cc would give me 8.5-1.

Any body taken cast omegas out to 14-15cc?

Ive taken powermax's from 10 to 17 cc, I should think 15cc omegas should be fine

We use IASA pistons at work, and they are nice pistons. All of their parts are good quality, so I'd expect those to be just as good.

I would give them a go if i needed pistons of this size/ cc. As said they are a recognised brand. I would rather use a set of out of the box forged pistons than buy a set of cast and start machining material out of the crowns.

Matt, im pretty sure you can get Avonbar to specify a CC, when I rang for my Cast Omegas he said they were machined to order?
