Swiftune mini boot lights

I'm a great fan of the swiftune minis and I've been wondering for a while what's going on with the lights on the boot of this one here. are they fog lights? rain lights? extra brake lights? can anyone shed some light on this?

for racing i think you require a rain/fog light. so logic would assume they are those
