SC engine knocking

My SC has developed a nasty knocking, it seems to be coming from the supercharger.

Could be the SC bearing?

sounds like the scrolls are rubbing

Done now needs redoing lol

nick , it may be the coupling ,i had to replace a db7 eaton supercharger ,the thing was worn out and scored , but also ,had a knocking noice that was caused by play in the coupling.

the blower i used to replace it with , off a ford thunderbird ,had a different design of coupling that was much better and quiet .

thats the supercharger knocking for sure its the scrolls knocking bearings properly warn

Anyone replaced these bearings before?

checked the coupler and mines got no play but if you spin the gears by hand you can hear the knock like in the second video.

I never have but been told that oil is highly carlsagenic

Hopefully it's not

If the bearings have failed will the casing and scrolls not be fucked?
