Hi i currently have a bare shell that I will be putting a turbo engine in, but am wondering what to do about a wiring loom for it? i've been told to get a custom one made but at a cost of ?200, will this save me a lot of ball-ache or not?

thanks,

ian

i'm not having an ecu on mine, from minispares looms are only £110 ish aren't they?

For the custom loom they start with the normal mini loom (priced above)
i was told that you tell them what your fitting gauges etc and position of them all, and it all comes braided with a new style fuse box?

my looms currently set out on my dining table whilst im hacking it and modifing it to suit my car. surley it cant be that hard to find a standard mini loom and fit that maybe even unwrap it bit by bit check for breaks etc and re tape it.

the only additions you need to a standard loom is for your fuel pump and make sure you have a 12volt supply to your coil and these are not difficult.

*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
