What are opinions of the single piece oil control rings used on the AE mini pistons vs conventional rings? (per link below)
I don't know, they just look like they are high friction and not exactly "performance" related. Just wondering if you guys have real-life experiences, in stock, moderate and high-performance tunes...

They came fitted to the Powermax pistons in my engine, and that used no oil or smoked.

I am fitting some conventional ones now though, purely because my machinest had a set sat on the shelf, and the engine is being rebuilt.

Fastest A Series Mini in the World

leeds/wakefield.

i've used these in the past, easier to fit and the engine ran as clean as a whistle, revved to silly rpm to boot, as usual and never a hint of smoke
