Getting pissed of with my cheap shitty flaring tool as it doesn't really work at all...

Looking at buying one of these tomorrow:

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/...RC-flaring+tool

Has anybody tried one? If not, any recommendations?

I need to buy one locally tomorrow morning and re-end the main brake line to the rear subframe with it fitted to the cat whilst I still have a helper tomorrow...

Come and borrow my pro Sykes Picavant one. I will warn you though once you've used one, you'll want one.

I've got one of those ones that you have pictured. Works much better than some of the cheap kits I've used.

I have one and it is just OK at best. Dont imagine it ever doing a steel pipe, but copper is fine, kunifer...just about ok.

Buy the Sykes Flaremaster, they can be found online for very reasonable prices.

In the end I bought the one from machine mart. Works a treat on copper. All being well I can have back brakes now...

Have te one of machine mart. Verry happy with it. ( my American pickup drives withe brake lines made with that thing and even with that hi brake pressure they do not leak)

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

Right then, I have some kunifer pipe todo and I am looking for a good tool for the job, but that's not going to cost the world to buy.

What you boys think?

Simon.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Quarry Bonk

I got one from Halfords ages ago, handy in an emergency but really it's proper shit and takes a while to get a joint that doesn't leak *indifferent*

I have one like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Powerhand-brake-...63#ht_92wt_1161

Well sort of, it an old thing, but easy to use and works a treat. You'll need a small pipe cutter too if you don't have one.

Sykes Flaremaster 2

A little more pricey, but a great unit.

If you dont want to keep it, sell it afterwards.
