My son has been playing Xbox for some time now and we are just setting him up online. He has his profile offline which contains all of his points and history. We have set up the Microsoft account in order for him to go online but we want to transfer his history and points to that.
Can they be merged? How?

Cheers

I seriously doubt it!

Transfer his history and points to what account? An Xbox profile?
You can't transfer them across to another Xbox live profile if that's what your asking.

Tbh Smit, I aint got a clue, that is what Mrs W told me to type.

He had to go online and create an account but he would like all of his history and points on that - whatever that means

I seriously doubt it!

just copied from a google search

"You cannot merge XBOX Live accounts. If you have an offline profile on your XBOX you will need to sign into that profile and go to "Join XBOX Live", follow the steps indicated and it will take that offline profile online with a new gamertag which you will be able to change once for free within 30 days. This will then take all of your games played offline and achievements earned to a place where you can view them online."

As taz said, he'll need to join Xbox live through his old account/profile.

Hopefully he hasn't made a new account with 12 months membership!
