As title on a 1380, mg cam and weber 40.

Any ideas as too why?

Has it always done it or just started?

I suspect the timing is out, retarded ignition timing can cause a hot exhaust.

too lean, timing too far retarded etc. get it setup.

Only the middle? My old mg metro lumped mini used to glow abit after a hard ragging or is this on idle

This was idle, only middle. As that dealing with 2 cylinders. Anyhow. .

Sorted, static 22 degrees tweek of the weber and it runs like a champ. Just gota fix the slipping clutch that the weber has caused.

Get it on the rollers for a tune. Mine always glows though even though its set up correctly

I seriously doubt it!
