In need of my car prepping and spraying, it's going to be a race car so doesn't have to be concourse.

If anyone has any places they know or people that'd be good.

Thanks

Matt

the worst that can happen is that it looks shit, thats enough ensentive to get a half decent job dome,

as Ron dennis is quoted as saying the single most important finish on a car is the paint.

it's not difficult to get a good finish with a bit of patience, a mint top job usually involves the likes or cossie rick

I carnt help with a recomendation mat but a few tips and pointers for you

Prep yourself , dont get me wrong most bodyshops dont like doing it , like we all no a good job is all in the prep.

If tat does happen , ask them exactly what they want n get them to show you how they want i preping etc.

Stick to a solid colour, the commercial stuff we use nearly puts itself on. Lol

Recomendations are usualy the way to go but most shops will have somthing in they have painted so have a look and see if its to YOUR standard and expectation

I would have a go at doing it myself, I've got most of the stuff needed to do it. Just after the grey one was so good I'd be annoyed with myself if I thought the car was let down by my wank paint job.

Cheers for the tips rick I was going to go with Laguna seca blue, used on BMWs.

Going to do some digging and see if I can find somewhere.

alot of race cars are wrapped now save the cost of painting individual parts that need replacing like bumpers ect

I went through this and decided to spray it myself. The results are ok for a race car and all up including paint, compresor, gun, etc I think it cost me about £800. But I have loads of paint left which is handy.

I need a paint shop in the midlands too, specifically near Daventry. need to get my scuttle and bonnet painted so they actually match the rest of the car...
