I have thought about SC supercharger kit but the cost is quite high so was leaning towards the turbo route

Hat i did was a mildly tuned 5 port turbo to keep it simple. Makes 130 bhp , and cost next to nothing to build. Im currently building something more power orientated. Once you initially get it up and running you are half way there |

theres not a lot of choice for chargers, its either somthing new (ie the SC rotrex) or use an eaton of a bini or merc, and to be honest the eatons are a bit crap,

Imo sell the tb's get a single and get a plenidumdedum made up, exhaust manifold and get a gt turbo, sell the rs cams and get the lt 16v cams (iirc jimster found them better on his setup) and a good intercooler. You could run high or low boost depending on what your going to use it on. If for a road car i would got for the gt17 or a vnt gt20 or 22 for driveability. Drives

£1200 will be eaten up pretty quickly unless you can do the machining yourself |

If i decide to sell the diff and crown/pinions can probably go to £1700 for engine up and running I am doing block work, head work so should keep the cost down a bit |

I costed around 5k to build a 16v turbo engine and box, that takes into account about 1k for fuel injection stuff.
