yeah, we've amused ourselves with this before. Not sure of their counting skills, but I only see 3 exhaust ports, hence 7 port.

Would make more sence to make a 7-port, then you don't need an expensive exhaust manifold.

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination,

Looks like the centre port has some sort of divider in it.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

This is on TMF somewhere, John you are correct, there is a divider and inside there is a port to each chamber, but I still agree with Wil on it, as wouldn't that single port create a restiction that would counteract most of the benefits of having an 8 port?

that centre port looks rather large for a 998. so i dont think it will restrict flow as such. anyway they will be testing it soon :)

i cant wait to see the outcome! i like the free flowing inlet design, not sure if its the best but looks to be very good. remind me of pauls 998 inlet with the sweeping bends on the plenum.

Only with this you do need a fancy manifold *happy*

The funky exhaust layout is because of their process.
It is basically only drilling so no chance to have a turning port.

I suppose they would sell a header if it ever comes to production.
