Thanks for the replies. Easy enough to make. Does it have to be in a certain place? Or just as long as its a few mm from the wheel? |

So long as it is close to the wheel that is all that matters. You then need to move the missing tooth on the wheel relative to the sensor. If you have machined the teeth into the pulley then you do need the sensor in a specific place.

the bracket that tom makes are top class 1293 Turbo mini

tom's are £100, this includes bracket and machined trigger wheel.
