i would save hassle and get a better shell for the money and time you would spend doing that one. even if you replaced that lot, its obviously had a rather damp life, so something could creep back that you hadnt even noticed yet. bite the bullet and get a better shell to start on.

You've already asked us once and the general consensus was to fix that shell.

Good shells are getting harder to find for sensible money and rarely are as good as they look.

I would fix it.

acid dip it if you intend to fix it,

However if it was myself id get a brand new shell and see if I could fit the seamless gutters and other period features onto the new shell

The people saying reshell are the reason there are so few minis left and why they are so expensive...

About £500 + vat

Obviously it wouldn't be the same car if you reshell it, it would be a ringer *wink*

Dont pay someone else to do it, buy a half decent welder and learn to weld. I started welding up minis when i was about 15.

I can't save this one myself maybe someone else can after talking with the parents, looking at where I stand money wise and where we live its just not worth starting it and then having to lose it later down the road cause of a house move. So I shall be braking it or selling it as a whole car with pretty much everything I own mini wise and then Ill save and buy a New bmw mini and then buy a old mini again when money allows me to, it brakes my heart to do it but guess needs be lads.
