hi all just wondering what a 1972 shell and v5 is worth as ive been offered one for 300 pounds shell needs ,front floor repairs , new sills ,front flitches,both sides, new wings and front panel ,any ideas?

as the guys above have said, the tax exempt status adds a fair bit of value.

not that we are discussing such things, but I have known tax exempt shells swept up with a dustpan and brush go for in excess of £200. If the shell only needs what you've described, I'd say it is probably worth it although I'd bid a bit less!

Id say that was a fair price, if it is a genuine 72 shell, features such as the two bolt subframe will be obvious :)
