a set of nankangs came with my mini and they are crap, especially in the wet. If I had the cash i would take them off tomorrow.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

they are noisey, as much grip as slics it the snow,

if you have a 20 hp car and only go shopping once a week 2 miles then there ok JUST!

Rule of thumb with tyres, if they sound crap they usually are, step forward Nankang, Linglong, Fateo, etc etc......
There are plenty of mid range tyres at a decent price that will be far better, the likes of Toyo, Falken, etc.
Anyway think yourself lucky they are not a more exotic size, just after Xmas I had to lay out nearly £500 for a bloody pair of tyres.

well, in recent years i've been a bit of a brand junkie an would generally only put the likes of pirelli, michelin, bridgestones etc on the car.

However a friend of mine has one of the Saab 93 Turbo X estates and has been spending a fortune of tyres in the past year and a bit that they have had it. He eventually put nangkangs on at the tail end of last year and has noticed very little differance in performance and is more than happy with the savings on cost.

Having said all that, I put more michelins on the audi instead

Nankangs are crap, I had a set on my xr2 that came on the car. Could go up this hill in my down where the boy racers charge up, in the wet it would spin the wheels in each gear and stop in 4th. They were horrid in the wet!

I had Nankang ns2 s on my old Dailey, it wasn't a racing car but they're weren't bad at all, I'd have them again!

I,m using HiFlys on my C Max and they seem OK.

None of the cheap tyres ever seem to last very long though
